"In The Woodshop"

These photos were taken inside the Hank Walker Newbury Woodshop. The shop has for years been a place where decoys are made, antique sneak floats are brought back to life and a gathering place for those who like to sit amongst the wood chips and solve the world's troubles through plain talk and laughter.

"Boomer" the famous red lab (now 14 years old) awaits another season of sport in the Great Marsh in a comfortable pile of wood chips. The blocks in the background will soon become the graceful Hank Walker Swans.

Geof Walker continues preparing stock for the soon to be Swans. It might only be July, but the Christmas orders will soon be flooding the shop.

Finished product in the show room awaits the new show season and the inevitable Christmas rush. The dusty fishing rod in the back right demonstrated that there really is no off season in the woodshop.
