A significant part of the Walker family
history is closely tied to the historical sneak floats.
These wonderfully crafted boats earned
their reputation during the great market hunting days. These
sleek boats are now revered as a works of art. There are few
people left in the North East today that possess the skills
necessary to build and scull these graceful crafts.
The
Walker family has rescued and restored many of these early
day waterfowl boats. Some 20 of which are proudly stored in
the family museum in Old Newbury, Massachusetts.
